Creativity is at the heart of our learning, and our teaching staff have plenty of it! Children learn in different ways, understanding concepts through various teaching techniques which our staff pick up on and provide.
On any given day, our classrooms are full of watching, making, listening, observing, recalling, drawing on personal experiences and piecing it all together under the curriculum.
Many of our subjects cross over and provide the opportunity to link together, giving our children a more rounded understanding of the topic within the world they live in.
For example, we might be making instruments (DT), playing them at a show for our parents (music/PSHE), finding out where they come from (history/geography), noticing how they make the sounds they do (science), creating music using a app (computing/maths), writing some lyrics (English/languages) or dancing to the latest hits (PE)!
