Welcome to Year 2 (Y2) at St John’s. This year is an important stage in your child’s education. They will begin to study the Abacus maths scheme and will become more confident at decoding words and sight reading.
We will also start working with them on their comprehension levels and will also spend some time learning about our bodies and how to stay healthy. KS1 SATS information will be made available in the spring term.
